Another walk and brambling session, with views across Dartmoor. The wet and miserable weather of the last few weeks has gone and we have had warm sunny days. Good for walking and hopefully more to come.

I was brought up on a farm near York and worked in farming and allied industries until 1970 when Valerie and I spent 2 years at Bible College before going out to Argentina as agricultural missionaries. In 1980 we returned to the U.K. when I worked part-time at Bicton Agricultural College until ordination to full-time parish work in 1988. To get some idea of my background, the town of Dawlish was the largest place I have ever lived! . . . .
