A walk across the fields and along the lanes. We finally found some primroses out in a sheltered place. Spring is coming. Further along and back on the road we passed a farm gate and the chickens running free along the bank side. 'The girls' as the farmer called them. The others were camera shy and ran home, and even these two turned their backs.
